Continuing the discussion from Scrum: how to start:
Tasacora currenty has a roll of 6 people:
@Kumkum and Harmonia Amanda as geographers
- Ash_Crow and @Dereckson as web application developers
- Rama and Spl33n as data wrangling and map crafting developers
Four developers is the ideal size for Scrum. Let's try with 10 days spring instead of 30, so it could mutate quickly.
In a nutshell, Scrum is a lightweight system where the developers are self-organized and offer a product by iteration (release early, release often).
We'll have every 10 days discussions to choose the tasks to work, then we'll work on these tasks, then wrap. And it will be time to go to the next sprint.
@Kumkum you'll be the perfect product owner, as you've a clear vision of GIS, a knowledge of products like GRASS and experience about getting things done. If when you read the doc, you prefer the scrum master role, that's awesome. If not, you'll be our awesome Tasacora product owner.
